Intercoolers increase the efficiency of the induction system by reducing induction air heat created by the turbo and promoting more thorough combustion. meaning more bhp and torque!

The 2.5 tdi engine (ajt) has an output of 88bhp. The only difference between that and the 2.5 tdi (acv) 102bhp model is the intercooler and injector bodies. So to get an 88bhp up to 102bhp is to add an intercooler either standard or a little more from this kit. We tested an 88bhp model by adding this intercooler kit and it gave us 104bhp with no other mods.

If you are wanting to acheive more power the next step would be to fit 150bhp injector nozells. You will definatly need an intercooler

The intercooler can be mounted either infront of the radiator or lower down in a standard or aftermarket bumper. On a short nose van there is enough room in front of the radiator but you will need to trim some of the grille for it to fit.

The kit includes everything you will need to connect the intercooler. All connecting alloy pipes, Silicone connectors (in choice of red, blue or black) high strength clips, an alloy t peice as you will need to fit your existing thrust sensor, and the intercooler.
